Comment: Could Townsville City Council be
excluded from the redevelopment of Jezzine Barracks? Yes they should. I
got an invitation today from the Mayor Tony Mooney to attend a meeting
about Jezzine Barracks, at the Civic Theatre Sunday, February 26 at 2pm
but I am not able to attend the meeting that very day so I answered Mayor
Mooney to study my view on Kissing Point and Jezzine Barracks, posted at
MY WEBSITE, and asked him to print it and let the guest
speakers he has invited to take part of my proposal about the issue, as an
normal democratic gesture. You are also welcome to look at it! A future
warfare is not simply to intercept a missile or and airplane, it is very
much a question of intercepting the communication before it happens. The
cyber war has just started. Kissing Point has been upgraded a number of
times over the last hundred years, and the wars are not over yet. It's
time to once again upgrade that site and make it into a first-class
education institute, based on hi-tech, and the location in the North, is
still ideal. The Federal Government should keep the whole area for the
Department of Defence for future use.

Comment:
Kissing Point for a dollar. I told you what I think already. The Defence
Force should keep the whole lot and revamp the whole place making it to a
hi-tech research centre. It's a perfect geographically strategic location,
still, in a time of future cyber war. Five-thousand signatures on a piece
of paper is a cheap trick. The city council should take more national
responsibility for the region and less for their local political interest.
